My first day!!
Well, so far so good I guess. Started the day with a soft boiled egg and my coffee with the vanilla protein shake mixed in. I had 1 cup mashed cauliflower and 1 cup mashed broccoli for lunch with an IP broccoli cheese soup packet on top. Just had the IP banana pudding muffins I made last night and 1/2 cup celery, 1/2 cup cucumbers for my snack, not bad. I have had over 80 ounces of water already!! I feel a bit hungry but not unbearable but I do feel very hot. Anyone else notice that? Planning on having steamed cod and 1 cup sauteed mushrooms for dinner. Does that sound like I did okay??? The egg did not stick with me that well this morning so I will have to experiment tomorrow. I am a breakfast eater so I can't just drink something...

Congratulations!!! We are all pulling for you! The carb and sugar addiction took me a good 3-4 days to get over (you might not be as addicted as I was tho). If you start feeling bad on day 2 and 3 ... just take some aspirin and push through it ... I got a bad headache ... but not all people react the same way. By day 5, it's MUCH EASIER.

You are in good company here - lots of great info! I'm day 5 - not sleeping well but that's not uncommon. Today though my teeth feel a bit sore and my mouth is dry. Apparently that means things are working by design. Best to you on day one!

Hang in there, because it does get better. The first week or two is not fun, but you're on your way to an entirely new way of life. It's exciting!
