Yesterday went great and that feels awesome. I was up about 8 times overnight to go to the bathroom because I drank so much water yesterday, but I slept in until 10:30 AM to make up for it. In my ideal world, I'd be a natural morning person, but not being a great sleeper messes that up everyday.
Today I have a plan for eating. Salad with tomato and cucumber at lunch with my protein and an omelet at dinner. I'm not sure what I will have for snacks, but that is never a difficult one for me.
I'm getting a haircut today, which was supposed to be part of a loss reward from months ago that kept getting pushed back. I'm looking forward to the pampering.
Lisa32989, thanks for the tip for the Quest bars. I will check those out too.
I just started week 2 on IP and I am feeling great. I can't really share this with anyone in my life right now but just doing this for 8 days, my feet don't hurt if I sit too long. That right there is my motivation to make this a lifestyle change and not just a diet.
So I just made the choc pudding "smoothie". Pudding mix 1/2 cup of coffee water and ice. Definetly a job for the big blender lol! Made a total mess using the small one. oh well needed to wipe down the kitchen anyway. Hope I got all the drips off the ceiling. Lmao I'm peeing laughing now but I sure was a cussin a few mins ago!
QUEST BARS!
They are best (softest) if you order straight from them.
You can try a variety for the box price with the coupon code mixbar. Also there is usually a free shipping code floating around. Try hero
Thanks, Lisa. I remember you posting about them before. Just ordered. We will see which one gets favorite status...they all sound so good!
Good morning all. I have been MIA due to some pretty intensive training (all weekend) and work. Despite being in training/class all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (including an hour commute each way), I stayed OP. Today is my WI so we shall see what happens, if anything. Keep me in your thoughts when 10:15 a.m. PST rolls around!
I almost died when they told me we eat an average of 140 pounds of sugar a year when I went to my introduction to IP meeting. That is the same number they quote in this article.
WI #10 Lost 1.3 pounds and 3.75 inches - the inches is huge for me b/c I'm down just 20 inches total. Finally starting to have more energy...not sure if that's the diet or the fact the kids are going back to school!
Morning everybody! My son had a friend sleepover last night so the cats and I are hiding out upstairs in my room
I didn't get a chance to hit any thrift shops yesterday since I took the boys to the community pool but I'm hoping later today.
Congrats to all the good WI's today and boo to the kitchen mishaps! Hoping to try the flatbread recipe today to go with my lunch salad - yum! Going to try fried (cauliflower) rice tonight with chicken for supper.
I saw that Rainbow's recipes were highlighted on one of the IP FB pages I follow - yay!
I recieved 'free' samples from my order yesturday. I got the Proti-Thin Choc Drink (non restricted I think) and the Proti-Thin Choc Peanut Protein Bar..
I am thinkin this is restricted... here are the stats of the bar.. any help with restricted or non restricted would be great... (It seems to have a lot of carbs, so I am not sure I will be eating this...)

Ok...who's bright idea was it to make the hole in the lid on the extract 4 times larger??
Shouldn't they have to put a warning label on it when they do that??
Has it been that long since I have baked anything??
My vanilla shake now has half a bottle of pepermint extract in it... sigh...
Blech! I over-pepperminted something a while back and it was GROSS! I powered thru it b/c I didn't want to waste the packet either. Much easier to do if it is at alternative prices!
