I'm going out on a limb here... has anyone from New England been to the Big E? If so, what the *&%* can I eat there? From what I understand it is ALL fried food. I am going on Sunday with my family and would like to avoid bringing my own salad, but if I have to, of course I will.

I went last week. I had a shish kebab and a piece of grilled chicken. I also brought a packet (blueberry cranberry) to add to a bottle of water. I had a good time and I didn't feel deprived. The people I was with were very supportive and didn't offer me anything. It is possible to have fun and stay OP.

Thank you for getting back to me! I knew I would find someone who has been! I have never been there before and all I hear about is all of the fried food. Relieved that there are some healthy options. Any chance I'll find veggies?

Veggies that are not fried are tough to find, unless you have a salad. There are also a lot of places that serve steak so you could have that, which I thought about after I posted yesterday.

Hi All I'm from southern RI. Great to see so many of us here!

Hi all,
Southern NH but work in North Central Mass., that is how I found my clinic. Third week in and pretty happy with the program. A woman at work lost 50 pounds on the program as did a sales rep I know. They both have kept it off so I am determined to be successful on this program...tired of all the yo yo dieting.

That is great! Keep up the good work. What center do you go to?

Weight No Longer in Niantic. Couldn't have had this much success without them.

At the big e I ate quite a few things (I'm gluten free, so a lot of foods are out anyway) but the stand out was smoked salmon on a stick. It won the Big E "healthiest food award" last year.
