IP and cleansing in phase one..yea or nay??
 

I was wondering (and I will ask my coach this am) what is everones opinion on doing a cleanse in phase one on IP...I just read in a post that if you are constipated you can hold excess weight I you colon.....

are you constipated?

If you are constipated, you should follow the IP protocol for constipation - lean on the people who are trained to help in this particular situation. They can make good recommendations.

I recently battled the big "C" myself. I found that eating food, rather than drinking it (like shakes and soups) really keeps me more regular. So I make sure to eat one solid thing (like a bar) for IP every day and eat lots of salads.

I use a product called Swiss Kriss daily and always have. I get it at my food co-op. since being on IP ( and at night sometimes on Vicodin due to massive shoulder pain as I await surgery- VERY constipating) I use the IP recommended product Natural Calm. I put it in cold water with Mio flavoring and find it is quite good. It relaxes me to sleep and I generally have movement the next morning. I also eat 2 leafy salads most days.

Smooth Move tea!! you can find it in a walmart and safeway and most stores. they have it in Chocolate.. and you can add the EAS Advantage RTD's as a extra flavor... does me wonders and have never had "C" again! :grouphug:
