Try cutting the spinach and see if it helps or if it is the RTD

Some people have to carefully time the vitamins, too

I was considering cutting the spinach and WF choc syrup, but this feels so absolutely horrible that at this point, i'm afraid to try the RTD with or without the other ingredients again. I'm hunched over at my work desk right now. Praying I feel better in time for the concert tonight.

Lisa's post made me think of something. Do you take any medication?

Could this be related to the diet? Curious if others have had similar issues.
I often felt this way when I did IP the first time around. Sometimes I would wake up with headaches. Nothing really helped with this. I would sometimes eat a bit more protein and add the extra salt which seemed to help temporarily.

Good morning all!!!

Ok... so TOM is officially 1 week late (no, there is no chance for pregnancy). How late is it normally on IP? Last month is was a few days, but is it going to be constantly getting pushed back?

I've been eating pickles... a lot lol. I can tell it's also affecting my weight because even on my own scale it isn't going really down. They're so good, but maybe my body can't handle them. Ah well, back to my purees

I get my new vehicle on Saturday ... woot woot! 2014 Titanium Escape! I'm so excited. I've been using my sisters' mazda 6 for the week and I think my head will be permanently dented trying to get in that thing all the time, I have to figure out how to properly get into a little car, it seems my brain is used to SUVs and trucks haha!

I just started IP July 11 and TOM should have been here around the 15th, and just showed up yesterday. I was a bit concerned, but I did some research and it said it was normal. When I did IP before, I don't remember it being late at all, however I didn't pay that much attention back then since my husband was in Afghanistan so I knew there was zero chance for pregnancy.

Lauran- I'm on Ceftin (antibiotic) for the tonsilitis, but I started that Monday night, and I've had this stomach/intestine thing since sunday morning, so I'm pretty sure it's unrelated.

For those of you who add spinach to your shakes/drinks, have you used it with vanilla? I see a lot of chocolate recipes and am guessing that you can't really taste the spinach. Other than the color, does anyone know if the taste of vanilla is changed?
Thanks and have a fantastic day!
Aprlem, I add spinach just about every morning with all my shakes. I do usually put an ounce of coffee concentrate in my vanilla shakes, so it already makes them a little darker/taste a bit different. You can see the spinach, but I can't taste it. I also wash and freeze my baby spinach in individual one-cup ziplocs, so that I don't have to measure it in the AM.

The RTD Drinks have gluten in them. I cannot drink them but am able to drink the packets. Perhaps a simple switch of switching from the premade to the packets might help. Just a thought.

Thanks Willsea... i'll try that. I've never had a gluten issue before... so weird to just come on out of the blue, whatever the problem is.

People have developed all kinds of sensitivities while on this diet: gluten, soy, Sucralose (Splenda) have become the biggest culprits. Some folks have eliminated all and gradually added back to find the culprit (maybe they always had the sensitivity but the diet was more varied?)

Quest bars are gluten-free, soy-free, and the all-natural line are sucralose-free. These might be a good choice for breakfast while you determine the culprit. I always used a pudding packet with my am spinach smoothie.

Has the RTD changed formulas? It didn't have gluten last time I checked. I don't have any right now ( it is at home and I am not).

I use chocolate pudding packet, cold coffee instead of water, spinach, and coffee ice cubes.

I made some green ones for St Patty's day with vanilla, spinach, ice, and a bit of mint (I'm not a fan of vanilla things)

Thanks so much for answering. Single mother over here and no time to date!! lol, so yeah, no chance of pregnancy unless I somehow develop the abitlity of immaculate conception.

I hope you can make it to the concert - bon jovi is supposed to be awesome in concert. I got very upset stomach last night after doing chocolate drink mix + spinach + ice and cinnamon. But I also use Smooth Move so that might have been in. Remember that there is a pretty big stomach bug going around right now http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs...7596.html?vp=1 which might be what is affecting you.

Good to know Sarita! Thanks.

And... since I remember commenting on how impressive your stats were when I first joined I thought I would share how AWESOME it is that you are 70% of the way to your goal!
