Egg Whites (How Many are too much during the day?)
Just got back on the program after a two week vacation. I was wondering how many egg whites per day is too much? I use them to cook with only like as in making the Potato Puree Fluffy Rolls or IP Muffins with the puddings. I use 2 large eggs worth, from egg beaters egg whites, to make each of these dishes.
So if were to eat both of these dishes in a day, I would consume 4 large eggs worth of egg whites. Do I need to count this toward the days worth of lean protein? Or can I go ahead and still eat 8 oz worth of Chicken/Meat/Fish/Turkey etc? |
2 would be considered 0/0/0
More than that would typically be subtracted from dinner protein. I use ONE egg white in my zucchini muffins and it works just fine |

I just had two egg whites with 1/2 cup spinach and 1/2 mushrooms. All that's really counted so far is 1 cup of veggies? |
I was told we are permitted 2 egg whites (in addition to our Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and night time snack) per day.

how many tsp/tbsp. of egg white mixture equals 1 egg white? Incredibly, the carton doesn't say.

approx 1/4 cup is two egg whites.

I checked today at Costco on their egg white container, and it said 3Tbsp = 1 egg white.

Thanks good to know. I have been guessing what 1 egg white was and I have been underestimating! Usually my problem is the other way
