NSV. Yippee

I am so excited that I can post a NSV. This is day 11 for me. I'm down 8.2 lbs so far. I haven't cheated, done all my measuring etc. tonight we were invited out for dinner to a friends. No one knows I am doing IP besides my husband. I was hoping to not say anything until people noticed I had lost weight. I was worried about what they would make for dinner that I could have. When I found out that they weren't sure what they were cooking yet, I suggested it would be our treat and we would bring something to BBQ. It was great. We brought beef tenderloin, a salad and veggies. She prepared potatoes, corn on the cob and an assortment of things that smelled great but so not for me. So...I took a few potatoes, moved them around on my plate, snuck my own salad dressing on and no one knew. And the best part is I didn't even want all the extras! I am soooo proud I pulled it off. I know I can't keep quiet for ever but I wanted a good start before anyone knows :)

Good for you! Yes...this CAN be done quietly...PLANNING...and getting involved enough to have the control you need is important. Many of us have chosen NOT to advertise this ...for a lot of reasons. You're off to a good start...and you should start to think about your answers once people do notice you are losing. Even then...some of us have managed to only share what is obvious. You'll get help on this forum...congratulations. The first hurdles are for a lot of us... the hardest...
