Has anyone purchased and tried the "new" products that were supposed to be coming out this spring? If I remember correctly, there was going to be a chip-type snack and ready-to-eat pudding cups, all non-restricted.

The ready-to-eat chocolate pudding cups are out already.
Garlic & Herb Potato Chips, RTD Cappucino, Cornflakes and a Brownie (all non-restricted) are coming out soon, but no set-date yet.
I have been a Red Cross blood donor for many years and just got a call yesterday asking me to donate again. I've been OP for 7 weeks and I'm just wondering if it is ok to donate while on this diet since it is so low cal and restrictive. I sure wouldn't be able to eat the carb snacks and juice drinks they want you to have immediately after.
I just got the ready to eat pudding cups, and I really like them. They have a great texture and taste, better than the mix. I like it with just a little sprinkle of sea salt.
So today was my first weigh in an I lost 7.5 lbs, in ten days. But at my center I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and no one looked at my food diary or asked how I felt ect. Is this normal?

You could always bring OP snacks to eat following donation. Something that is restricted would probably help.
Good afternoon all. How is everyone doing this beautiful Saturday. I hope all is well with everyone. I have the ready made pudding and it is okay. Have a GREAT day everyone.
Not looking forward to all this (I doubt anyone does!)
Who's done this while on IP?
Tomorrow I am only allowed: water, fat free broth, flavored waters, tea, clear soda, ice pops and sugan free jello (no red/purple). Only packet I have that might work is pineapple-banana drink. I clearly did NOT think ahead as much as I should have for this one...
Thinking because I will not be consuming much cal/fat/carbs I can go ahead with the broths, pops and jellos so I will feel like I am eating something and still end up below IP in-take levels... of course I really won't get the protein, but I think for the one day it should be ok.
I will take a drink mix to have right after I am done and that should help get me right back OP on Monday.

Any thoughts or advice is appreciated!!
Can you pick up some EAS carb advantage vanilla shakes? (Target, Walgreens, Walmart, etc). You could still have 3-5 "packets" that way tomorrow, which will get your protein in (2 packs instead of your usual meat). Understandable they don't want you to have veggies. One day for medical reasons will be fine.
Check the label but I bet none of the coloring you can't have in the ingredients
My doc just ordered one too. Haven't scheduled yet

It's not normal from my experience. My coach paid close attention to my food diary and asked a lot of questions for the first couple months and again when I had a stall. Congrats on your loss!

I got the chocolate pudding. It's better than the mix but still not great. I'll have to try it with sea salt and see if that improves the taste.

Okay thanks that is what I thought. Thanks for the input but it is a little disapointing.
my coach is the same way. i dont even know who my coach even is, theres a few different people that weight and measure me and im also in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Thanks Lisa!
For the day before the colonoscopy, the instruction sheet specifies ONLY clear liquids, so any shake would be out I assume. It literaaly only lists fat free beef/chicken broth, clear drinks like sprite/ginger ale, flavored water, jello and ice pops. I just don't think any of the IP non-fruit shakes would be ok and I am wondering about even the pineapple or pina colada. (also NO dairy of any kind).
I think I will do the broth, sugar free jellos, flavored 0/0/0 waters, sugar free ice pops and maybe ginger ale.
I'm really not worried about consuming off program for this day because overall my in take will be very low AND, I am pretty sure this will bump my weight loss down an extra pound or two (BONUS??!!)
