Default Tried any iPhone apps: eg Carb Master?

I just loaded up Carb Master onto my iPad and iPhone.

Have entered nutritional specs on some of my ip favourites.

Wondering if anyone as used this, o any other app. And if so, ave you found it useful?

I have the Ideal Protein App. A little pricey but I like the recipes and the grocery cart function. You have to be careful though as some of the recipes listed as P1/P2 are not. Better that you know what you're allowed while viewing them so as not to go off course.

I use myfitnesspal. I guess it's not really necessary in phase1 to track carbs etc if we follow the plan.... But I like it anyway. Most of the ip food is in the database too

Be careful the IP app is not put out by Ideal Protein. Its something a coach at one of the clinics put together. Personally I think its a pretty useless program and totally overpriced considering the cost $9.99. All of the info in the program is on the internet free and you can log your food for free on a number of sites/apps.

True you can find the info on here or other places on the internet but I personally think having the information in an easily accessible manner on my cell phone while I'm at the grocery store beats sitting in the car and trying to find it. To me $10 is worth that convenience.

And, being someone that has the app, disagree that it is totally useless.

I use myfitnesspal app. Even though I'm in phase one, I still like using it and by the time I'm in maintenence, I will really be in the habit of using it.

I think myfitnesspal is the best calorie counter out there! If you are indifferent towards calorie count and macro count then definitely use that site!

But unfortunately counting calories triggers something in me (all or nothing thinking). I feel like I need to hit a specific calorie count, and eat more/less based on calories rather than how I feel. I rather just eat healthy and stick to plan and not know how many calories I am consuming .
