i don't think i'll ever learn how to maintain! i am so proud of you and how well you continue to progress. keep at it gf!!!

YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to see you Susan. I am in the same boat, I need to get about 15 off to get back to my goal. I just got an email from my nephew to keep end of July clear for his wedding.
So now I plan to get the excess off slow and steady and get a nice dress for that.Strange how having a specific goal makes me think twice about what I put in my mouth. We can do this, day 2 for me too.You will be at your November goal for your trip.

Rainbow,

So glad to see you around again and that you only allowed a bit to creep back on.

I'm struggling now with this stress from all the job stuff. I am afraid to get on the scale as I'm sure about 5 pounds (at least) are hanging around laughing at me. No real overboard days, just a bit here and there, mixing too many fats and too many carbs. I HATE stress. If I could just get past this.

Hang in there. You know what to do. Start creating OP in the kitchen again. Everyone loves Rainbow in the kitchen.

Molly

Quick question....I have always used the chocolate drink powder. I have heard that the ready to drink chocolate is better as it has less carbs. As I don't have a carton to compare, is this the case?

By the way...72 days on the IP program and NOT A SINGLE CHEATING EPISODE! I never dreamed I could really do such a rigid diet but I love it. I have 10 lbs to goal and I am already nervous about maintenance. P1 is so determined for me that having choices will be a little scary.

But...I CAN DO IT!!!!

IP choc mix is 7 net carbs (9-2) and RTD is 1 net carb (5-4). But they usually charge more for the RTD. I buy mine from Nashua, it's almost exactly the same as IP, same calories/fat/carb/fiber, just slightly different ingredients.

Default New To Ip

I start my program (not calling it a diet) Thursday morning. Trying to lose 40lbs. My coach thinks it is doable. I think I have enough food for the first week and am working at increasing my water intake. OMG 4 cups of veggies per day. I may still be eating a midnight!

love you back, gf. I had to give you encouragement. You've been that over and over to all of us. We all are there for you now to make it happen for the rest of your journey.

Good news!!!!! I got a contract to work for two months with possibility of an extension. I really have decided that contract consultant work is the way to go. I can take time off when I want that way. I really don't need a full time job with all those benefits, just some supplementary money until we get settled to one place and on medicare and rid of that HUGE insurance payment. I'm excited, except I have to start Monday and we're still in Michigan. Lots of organizing and packing to be able to leave tomorrow. Of course, this is all contingent on passing the drug test (no problem) and a background check (great as long as they don't ask if I'm rehirable at my last job). I thought all they checked was criminal stuff, but who knows. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers on that account.

All you still on P1, stick to it. It is sooooo worth it and maintenance is not that tough IF you keep the same attitude and mindset as you had to lose on P1.

You have the right attitude not calling it a diet. It is a phased program for the rest of your life and it's totally doable. Your 40 lbs is just a 1/3 of what I lost. When I started I wondered if it was doable too, but it was. Just keep coming here as this is the absolute BEST support you can get to keep OP and get your questions answered.

You'll get through all those veggies and soon you'll probably want more. You will be amazed at how your habits and tastes change.
