I'm addicted to... OREOS!
Hi everyone!
So as crazy and nuts as this sounds... I'm seriously having major Oreo cravings and meltdowns! I started IP 5+ wks ago and I am still freaking out over the Oreo temptation! Just thinking about one makes my mouth water! I have not cheated nor will I, but as a newbie... I am in need of some advice to beat this silly Oreo addition because I could easily pound down a whole package in one sitting about right now! Thanks!!!!! |
You can have Oreo's, just not right now.
I promise, Nabisco will still be making them when you reach maintenance! |
Good answer!!!

Decide what is more important: the Oreos or the freedom from food compulsion and the control over food that IP helps you gain.
Are you in contol or is the food? We have so.many. IP options for chocolate and other snacks. Find something that satisfies it. Rainbow posted a whoopie pie recipe. Maybe that would help? |
The cookies n cream IP bar is vaguely Oreo-like... Not sure if that means you should avoid it at all costs or try one. You decide!

It sounds like just an oreo craving as opposed to a more general chocolate craving, but when I CRAVE chocolate I have a quest brownie bar. They are a bit sweet for some, but perfect when I need to satisfy that sweet tooth screaming at me. It's fudgy and delicious.

Thanks everyone for the responses.... It helps me to stay focused with the end in mind!!!

I love the first answer! As Lisa said, Rainbow posted an amazing Whoopie Pie recipe, I made it and it was delicious!!

How do I find Rainbow's whoopie pie recipe?!?!
|
Definitely try the IP Cookies n Cream bar. It's not quite an oreo, but it does the trick!

Rainbows Whoopie Pie recipe is in her most recent Mixin in the Kitchen recipe thread on this forum. I would attach for you but I don't know how to do that!!
It's delicious! |
