Is anyone on this board also being treated for insulin resistance? I am considering starting (waiting for my nearest clinic to open at 3pm so I can make a consultation appointment!) and would like to hear from those also struggling with this condition. Did it hinder your success? Did you have sugar crashes from the low calorie diet? Thanks!
I have insulin resistance and PCOS. This diet was the only one that worked for me. The weight fell off hard and fast, but it went back on the same way when I wasn't careful! I felt so much better when the weight started coming off. I just made sure to eat every couple hours so i didn't feel sick.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I have SUCH a hard time losing weight, and this one seems like something that can actually work! I feel like I just need to find something to get the ball rolling and once it does, it won't stop!
Hi amt6! I have Insulin Resistance and this is the ONLY diet that has worked for me. I only do the alternative and don't go to a clinic or a coach, but this diet has helped me lose some extra weight that I was stuck at for over a year.. and it has taught me how I should be eating since I do have insulin resistance and am carb sensitive. My first few days is when I had low sugar issues, but that was my body adjusting to ketosis and is pretty normal for everyone. Make sure you keep your protein intake good, and you will do just fine! I also had a little increase in my fat intake and noticed that helped me lose faster. Good Luck!
Just keep going and don't give in to cravings! It is an amazing program if you stick with it :-)
Hello and Welcome! I am in the same boat as you. This diet has been great for me, it has completely changed my body and health. The first few days were tough, i did add a few hardboiled eggs in the afternoon during that first week and my blood sugar was ok. Good luck!
