Mothers day ideas on ip
 

me and my mom are on phase 1 of ip...wondering of any ideas of what i can get her for mothers day that doesnt involve the typical flowers ect...any ideas that include ip? any special recipes that are easy and doesnt involve using tons of ip packets? any alternatives to ip that i can use

My mom put a gift certificate for a mani/pedi in my Easter basket.

Perhaps you can get her that and spend the day together getting your nails done. I'm sure your mom would be thrilled with a "girl's day."

I've also found that I drink more herbal tea since starting IP.

Maybe you can get her a new mug and some special teas and put it all in a fancy basket?

A "spa day" sounds terrific. Alternatively, are there any new exercise DVD's she'd like to try?

I love the spa day idea. Maybe also take her shopping to try on some new clothes. It's a lot more fun shopping for clothes when you are on IP.

What I did last year which worked great and I want to do this year is go out to eat at a Mongolian Grill restaurant. It's set up so I can load up on meat, IP friendly veggies, skip the noodles and rice, and use the friendlier sauce seasonings. I'd eat Mongolian Grill often while dieting, just can't afford it!
