Weigh in today, finishing my 7th week -

Based on my scale (which is my official scale but tracks with the Dr's) I'm down again, for a total of 33.5 pounds!

I can no longer wear my dress pants and jeans (it was quite comedic when I tried yesterday) so thank goodness I had 4 old pants that I previously 'grew' out of that I can use. I'm hoping I can make it to Memorial Day using the clothes I have left, and then maybe just buy a few capris or skirts to make it through summer.

Just one more pound to make my first mini-goal of hitting 253 - where I move into just "obese" BMI. Looking forward to next week!

Did my weigh in and I am happy to report that I'm down another 6 pounds for a total loss of 73 pounds in 10 weeks. So close to the 300 pound, which is my mini goal to hit by May 1. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning!

I had zucchini chips last night! If you haven't had them, they are great! I wasn't quite patient enough to let them cool off before eating.

Does anyone make chips out of any veggies? I'm excited to try some other chips! What a great way to have veggies!

Default How to stay OP when sick

Yesterday I clearly felt myself coming down with something. Within 3 hours, I was shivering & sneezing, among other symptoms

So, how do I plan to say OP?

I stopped at the store on the way home & got veggies for soup (celery, leeks, mushrooms, bok choy). I also got lemons & fresh ginger root so I could have a yummy & healing tea.

I pulled a whole frozen chicken out of the freezer & put it in the crockpot to roast overnite. I also got homemade broth out of the freezer.

This morning, clean meat off bones, chop veggies, everything back into the pot and the carcass into another pot (with some frozen veggie scraps I saved) for more broth. Sip lemon ginger tea with my IP smoothie breakfast.

I'm staying home today. Our school rule is 24-hours fever-free. If it's a rule for the children, teachers should follow it too! Besides, I've learned if I stay home and chill, I rarely stay sick very long (viruses feed on sugars. I'm not feeding 'em!)

Default Almost Half way

Hello everyone,

Well I am short two pounds to be at my half way mark. I have lost 41 pounds and have 45 more to go to be at my ideal weight, assuming I don't readjust.

So I thought I'd post a before and NOW pick.

I think psychologically I needed an little boost to show me how important it is for me to continue on this journey. It encourages me, I am very proud, but I see that I am truly at halfway mark.

I seem to have lost my mojo because of my many hormonal issues. Doc readjusted last week and boy is it playing havoc on me this week, psychologically and physically.

I needed these pics to confirm what I guess I already knew.

Thanks to all on this forum. It is so uplifting, even when people vent.

Thanks

Woohoo..I have lost 50 pounds and now have LESS than 100 pounds to go! I am down 90 pounds from my highest weight 2 years ago. I am feeling great, experimenting with lots of new recipes and "packet hacking," and mining this site continually for great inspiration and information.

Next mini-goal is 225, weight when I met my husband....next one is onderland where I will finally weigh less than him.

Congrats! Yeah...I am "shopping" my closet and garage too. Had quite a few boxes packed away with smaller clothes. Keep up the great work for yourself!

Nicely done! You can hit the May 1 target. What a great "spring into summer" gift for yourself.
