Whenever I have a slow down, my body is adjusting, and my inches seem to melt off during the non-weight-loss times. It all evens out in the end!

Salt intake has tended to help with the dizziness but I was just wondering if anyone has positive suggestions to help on total lack of energy days.
There is a possibility your electrolytes are off. I would suggest, and what I do, is have a Powerade Zero (they are approved for IP). If it's your electrolytes, this usually helps get me back to normal in about 4 hours or so.

Wow! I guess I'll have to check the news out. I have little ones so I actually chose not to watch the tv because I figure they don't have to know at such a young age. Prayers to all.

Back to workin night shift tonight. I always have to adjust how I eat. Busy weekend due to husband on call all weekend. So up 24 hours today and I will only get a few hour sat. Hopefully no early calls for him tomorrow so I get a little sleep . I think that affects your loses too. But oh we'll.

Off to store this am for some more fresh veggies. Wondering about the eggplant chips? Are they good? How do you make them?
Aother great day to stay OP!

9 week WI today. Down 1.8 lbs for a total of 25. Yahoo. People are beginning to notice. I love having skinny legs but wish my big ol' belly would go down quicker.

Talking Tgif

Hello everyone,

Well had my apt this morning with my endo. He reduced by half my estrogen and progesterone, but doubled my thyro meds and my DHEA. We talked about biotin and hair loss also as this is a huge one for me. I already take saw palmetto (max dose)and estriol for hair loss and use Nioxin shampoo and conditioner.

I knew something was off since I had lost only 2 pounds in the last month while staying OP. Boy do we know our own bodies.

Did speak at length about IP and the diet. He questionned me extensively and gave me 2 thumbs up about the whole process. I was glad about the whole thing.

Hoping to see a difference then in the next weeks as I get use to the new doses.

My heart goes out to Boston and Texas. Sending prayers to everyone.

Have a great weekend!

I'm nearly down a size. I tried on pants 1 size down and I could wear them, but still a little tight around the waist. Now that my current size is looser on me, I realize how uncomfortable I was in the clothes I wore before. I'm not going to pour myself into something and think "yeah, I can get away with this." I want it to fit well. So I put the pants back in the closet and they should fit better in a couple of weeks. Patience is what I need.

Just made kale chips for the first time. 15 minutes at 400 degrees! Pretty sure I burnt them. Are they suppose to be brown or green when done? I ate them anyways.

I am shocked and depressed by everything going on around Boston, my hometown. I live on the southcoast now. The suspect they are looking for went to UMASS, Dartmouth, right down the street. The college has been evacuated and the closest hospital is on lockdown. My 18 and 19 year old want to go to the movies in Dartmouth and I am not sure it is a good idea.

I do that with new items I've purchased, as well. I buy things if I find a good deal b/c new clothes are SO EXPENSIVE.
We have several higher-end resale shops in town: 4 charitable and then, of course, consignment. When I find high-quality brands for $5-10, I buy them. If I still have to pour myself into them, I put them into the closet "to rest" knowing full well its only a matter of time before my current clothes are too big. I started a size 24 and now I'm in some 14s and mostly 16s. I even got a pair of Chicos size 1.5 (10 in "real" size) to zip! They're resting in the closet. Couldn't pass those barely-worn jeans up for $8.

I bought some new clothes recently...capris were $28. Then I went to my fav re-sellers and found same color capris for $5-6. The new ones WENT BACK! I can buy new clothes again once I'm at goal and actually know what size I'll be. Until then, this whole new wardrobe thing is $$$ (not really complaining, just stating the facts). I'm so glad I live somewhere big enough that I have these options, in addtion to the thrift shops. I can find some really nice clothes there. I just have to go frequently.

I've never really had big legs but the butt got big when I'd gain weight. That has gone down alot too which is great. The belly is smaller but I think because there is so much extra "Stuff" there, it's going to be awhile before that is more noticeable to me.

Yes, it is crazy how everyone loses in such a different way. As long as it is a loss, I'm fine with it!
