Today was easier. I'm not really certain about the protein bar, found it at Walmart and it looks ok to me, restricted. 200 calories, fat 8g, total carbs 18g, dietary fiber <1g, sugar alcohols 9g, Protein 15g. So I was figuring 9 net carbs. If anyone thinks this is not okay, please let me know. It was pretty yummy.
Unless I'm reading incorrectly, I think you're over on your meat allowance.

Meat is 8 oz...I count 10.5 throughout your day (6.5oz chicken, 2oz egg and 2oz sardines.)

I, personally, don't subtract sugar alcohols but some people do.

Newbie the the forum - 3 weeks in and still working on the hunger issue

B: IP Peanut Crunch Bar, Coffee w/stevia
L: Rhubarb crisp (IP maple oatmeal, stewed rhubarb w/cinnamon, nutmeg, stevia, salt, and vanilla)
D: 8 oz chicken w/stir fry veggies (peppers, broccoli, celery)

I could be wrong, but I have read that some folks start out in the first week having an extra IP packet. Since I'm not doing packets, I don't think an extra 2oz of meat is going to make me unsuccessful on this diet. But thanks for the input. I also have a very physical job, I walk all day long, so again, if an extra hard boiled egg helps me keep going thru the day, then I'm definitely going to do it. I am my own coach.

Thanks for the feedback on the sugar alcohols!

Welcome Chicky! The hunger eases up in my experience. Drink more water and eat more lettuce!

Things went a little awry today. Left for baseball game and left my chicken salad in the fridge. But there was a Subway across the street from the ball field so I got a chopped chicken salad (with double meat) and had that. So glad I had read about that salad in the restaurant thread - the knowledge really came in handy!

Back posting after traveling for a few weeks.... but still keeping 100% since day 1!

L-Dark Chocolate Pudding (love it the most--I put in different Loriann flavorings like chocolate hazelnut, coconut, cream cheese, yum!), stewed rhubarb
D-96/4 hamburger patty on the grill, stewed rhubarb (we got a new oven delivered and it isn't hooked up yet so I used the yummy rhubarb I had made in the microwave}
S-the NEW orange wafer--it is really good!!

Water, water, water Too hot for tea

I usually eat salad but was too busy today and not particularly hungry (never thought I would say that )
