I have to share this - it was so good! I brewed a cup of decaf raspberry tea fairly strong and let it cool and used it instead of water when making my dark chocolate pudding shake. It tastes amazing!

D: pork tenderloin with WF BBQ sauce on fresh spinach with WF dressing mixed with 1tsp olive oil S: IP strawberry wafers :D Loved the rotini!!! I was expecting them to be pretty bad for some reason, but their consistency is pretty much like whole grain pasta. Not bad at all!! |

hey guys im new here and started IP 2 weeks ago. im only seventeen and im doing this with my mom but so far its going really well! still get cravings sometimes though...
anyway! B: chocolate shake coffee with splenda Snack: celery sticks with WF honey dijon sauce (needs alot of doctoring...yuck!) Lunch: BIG salad with a little chicken and WF dressing Dinner: roast beef and veggies! I still need one more protein packet...probably a drink again! P.S. Does anyone have any recipes using the peach mango drink? its been sitting in my fridge for a while and i have a terrible feeling i wont be able to choke it down alone! You guys are awesome on here! everyone is so helpful and motivating!!! thank you!! |

So, today did not turn out anything like I thought it would! B: Herb & Cheese Omelet w/ sauteed mushrooms and green onions (wow... probably the best thing I have tried so far! yummy!) L: Chocolate drink (Chicken soup flat bread was so gross I threw it away) D: Nandos grilled chicken and side salad S: Some unidentified IP bar... the name of it wore off. No clue, lol! I felt very weak and tired today and was off on all my eating, so I may have another packet before bed. I have to go back to work and I would hate to be this wore out while trying to work all day! |

Strawberry Rhubarb Smoothie
I was about to experiment and blend my Strawberry Pudding packet with spinach, water and ice when I spotted the extra two cups of cooked rhubarb so I made this instead.
1 Strawberry Pudding Packet 2 cups cooked rhubarb (microwaved, added Stevia packet and squeeze of lemon) 5 oz water plus couple splashes extra Ice Mix all together in blender. I added some extra water and am not sure how much ice I added but I have a big cup of very tasty smoothie! I was going to add WF chocolate syrup but it didn't need it. |

Hi this is my first post, first day on P1 using Alternatives. I made it thru the day!
B: EAS Advantage Chocolate Fudge S: One Hard boiled egg L: Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar, Coffee w 1oz Skim milk and Stevia in the Raw S: 2c Butter Lettuce, 1 1/2c Spinach, 1/2c Mushrooms, 1oz Sardines packed in water, WF Caesar dressing (Yuck!) D: 5.5oz Sirloin Round Tips, 1/2c mushrooms, 1/2c Mashed Cauliflower roasted with olive oil and garlic, 1c sautéed baby kale. S: EAS Advantage Strawberry Shake blended with basil and mint I don't have all the supplements figured out exactly, but I didn't want to put off the diet any longer. I took a multi-vitamin and Potassium Citrate 99mg, will figure out the Cal-Mag this week. Drank 80oz water and peed all day. Things I learned today. 1. This diet requires lots of math...lol. 2. 1c of baby kale turns into almost nothing, so eating it raw may be more satisfying. 3. Need to make my own salad dressing. |
