3. recipes: I'll have half of one & half of another sometimes. some people even mix meat and packets & figure it all comes out evenly throughout the day. If it works for you, fine. If not, know it isn't technically the way the plan is designed (remember, plan is designed to be EASY...)
4. Veggie cheese is not technically okay on P1.
1 oz of skim milk is on the P1 sheet daily for coffee
Again, some folks make "tweaks". Some people have more luck with the tweaks than others.
My thoughts: can I live without it temporarily?
5. Sugar free syrups: Torani is splenda sweetened. I get it at World Market

I measure the sauce and diced tomatoes just like I would fresh tomatoes. I'm not sure if that is correct or not, but I only do this once every couple of weeks or so.
I'm not sure what IP's stance is on the splitting of packets, but I have done it before.
Milk and veggie cheese are not approved for phase 1. I've used veggie cheese sparingly in the past, only 1-2 tbsp at a time. I haven't done it in a while because that small amount didn't add much flavor and wasn't worth it to me.
World Market, Amazon, netrition.com and Walmart all have the sugar free syrups. Google Torani or DaVinci syrups to find them.

Thank you Lisa and Ragdoll for your response.
Is there an easy way to measure out a cup of kale or a cup of sliced zuchinni to make chips or do you estimate?
I thought anything with Splenda in it contained aspartame? No?
You gals really make getting good information so easy and it makes this diet simple to follow and even a little fun. I know I said fun and diet in the same sentence. Who would a thunk.

I hope this doesn't sound rude but...a measuring cup!

Splenda is sucralose, not aspartame. Two different things

Went to my WI today. Down 3.3lbs and 1/2 an inch!
My coach was actually there and I told her about the problem I had with the fill-in the last two weeks. She said she was glad I told her. She explained to me that the lady is not very tactful and she's sorry for me being upset. She will try to be there at all my appointments. I told her I understood the need for the fill-in (short staffed in another area), but the fill-in needed to be a little more careful in her word choice.
For someone who is making every effort to be 100% on this diet, to be accused of cheating more than once because the number on the scale isn't in the 2-3 lb loss range, is extremely insulting....especially when two whole inches were lost.
Oh well, I'm putting it in the past and moving forward!
BTW, tomorrow is jeans day and mine are WAY big!!!! I decided I cannot wear them anymore (they slip off without being unbuttoned or unzipped). Anyway, I went by and picked up a new pair TWO sizes smaller! When I started IP Jan 19 my size 22 jeans were very tight, now I'm in a size 18 jeans and they are comfy. I tried on the 16s, but wasn't comfortable enough to wear them, so I'll hold off for now. I'll just have to go back when these 18s slip off w/o being unbuttoned!!!!

Nice WI! Congrats!
I hope you feel proud of yourself for how you handled the situation with your coach and the office fill-in. I know as I get older in life, I'm better at standing up for myself when I don't feel that I'm being treated fairly. WTG!
Congrats on the smaller jeans. Who knows - when you go in next time you might totally bypass the 16s and be in the 14s. Awesome NSV!

Thanks! I do feel good about the situation. I am a pushover most if not all of the time. Today I feel like I have a backbone!
I cannot wait for even smaller jeans! The last time I was in 18s was at least 6 years ago. I don't think my husband has ever seen me smaller than 18. The last time I was in 14s was at the beginning of college (about 14 or more years ago). I can see it in my near future though, and it looks good!

ok.. I know I saw this on the alternative site, so I ordered it.. I got my Nahua Nutrition order today and was reading the ingredients.. and am a bit confused. some of the items list sugar..and some other ingredients I thought we need to stay away from.
I ordered..
The Weight loss systems- chocolate chip with marshmallow pudding
Weight loss systems pudding- creamy cheesecake
Protidiet Cereal- chocolate soy
Are these super restricted? Looking at the nutritional info.. they seem ok.. but the ingredients are what has me wondering...
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Do you chop the leaves up to measure?
Do you push them down inside a measuring cup to get more leaves per cup of veggies?
Sorry for the questions its just I see pictures of kale chips in big leaf size pieces and was wondering how you make them. I guess Lisa must think I'm stupid.

I haven't been on site for a few days, things are hectic.
I am experiencing my first "slow-down" with the weight loss in the last ten days. I am remaining faithful to protocol and trusting it will release. I am visualizing releasing, I am drowning myself drinking water, and keeping my attitude positive.
I actually wonder if I am NOT having enough food. I had an extra packet today because I exercised hard but I don't always do that.
I will report tomorrow if things have changed :-)

Great WI, so glad you talked to your coach, hopefully she will have a nice talk with her fill-in. Smaller clothes always make me feel better.

Hang in there we have all slowed at some point, you are over 1/2 way to your goal , don't sweat it, it is working to change too much, it might backfire. You've got this!
