Just finished week 7

Just finished week 7 and I have been plugging away with no problems until last weekend. I have been dizzy and nauseous since Sunday and can't decide if it's a bug or the diet. I go on vacation for a week tomorrow and am a bit nervous about staying on plan, buti haven't cheated yet so I am hoping I won't be too tempted. I have done really well so far almost 50 pounds down. Wish me luck!

Make sure you're getting enough salt. When I feel nauseous, I realize I haven't had enough salt that day. Either drink electrolyte enhanced water (for example, SmartWater) or Powerade Zero.

Hope you're feeling better quickly and I've really jealous of your vacation.
Have fun and good luck! :)

Thanks I will try the electrolytes. I am looking forward to getting a break from this epically long winter, been snowing all night, crazy even for Alaska!

Enjoy your vacation! Just try to do the best you can with your eating plan. There may be some missteps but I have heard plenty of stories around here about people not gaining and in some cases still losing while on vacation! You can do it!

I drink at least 1 Powerade Zero a week for just this reason. Especially if I'm feeling a little light-headed (although I get a lot of that from MS). It's really worked so far and also helps increase your hydration level for WI. I was really in the negative numbers until I started drinking it regularly.
