Happy Friday!

Anybody heard from NinjaNurse lately? Is she in Ireland? Hope she's still plugging along and doing well. (Scorbett, I know you're friends with her.)

After a standstill last week (but no gain!).....
I'm down 2 this week!

Just concentrating on getting all of my water in. I drank a ton of herbal tea yesterday and tried Truvia instead of my usual Splenda. Without giving TMI, I have been back and forth to the bathroom. Anyone else have an issue with Truvia?

Truvia contains erythritol, a sugar alcohol. It is listed first in the ingredients list, meaning there is more erythritol in it that anything else (i.e., stevia). Erythritol can cause GI distress, diarrhea, gas, bloating, and cramping.

I read yesterday that we will regain 10-15 lbs when phasing off over a few weeks. Has anyone experienced this? I'm getting closer to goal weight and wondering if I should reevaluate that especially if there is a lot of post weight gain. Thanks for all the help!

TGIF-- full week going to slow it down for this weekend, have company visiting.

Getting prepared for OP weekend. Often those are more challenging for me because I am less structured with my day.

It's not 10-15 lbs, it's around 3-5 lbs from what the coaches say & others here have posted. The only way you would regain 10-15 lbs while phasing off is if you stopped drinking enough water and started consuming massive qty's of food.

Where did you read that? I've never heard that before and I'm in the process of phasing off right now (first day of P3 yippee)...my coach never mentioned that. She did say that some of her dieters have experienced a gain of maybe 3 lbs but that's about it.

Sonyasbug 04-05-2013 09:38 AM

Yay to phase 3! I beleive it was the last post yesterday on daily. It scared me. 3-5 I can handle. Oh I would like to post a before pic in my signature but it only displays it really big. How do I shrink it? Thanks for the responses.

A question: how long is too long to keep clothes? I typically keep until a hole, washed out or stretched out too much. I was looking at a photo album and I am at the weight I was then and now wearing these clothes. We are talking over 10+ years now and I still have most of those outfits and will begin wearing again.

Should I have a t-shirt for 10, 15 or 20 years? Even though those cargo pants are fitting again, should I wear them? Will the fashion police find me and call me out?

Yes it fits and looks ok but the shape is definitely stretched out and dated. Letting go of clothes that fit and in my mind and still wearable is a bit of a sin. But, as I shed pounds I feel that I deserve new things again.

I am a big thrift shopper, but in some ways that is inheriting the same. I need to come to terms to allow myself to buy a few new things. Money is tight and with the program costs I want to keep other expenses down.

Anyone else struggle with this internal dialogue?
