I agree you should report the theft. My DH had a brand new bottle of cologne stolen from his suitcase last year and he reported it to the airline. They reimbursed him the full price. The part that bothers me the most is someone went in your personal belongings. It's creepy.

Yes, if you did not have a card - about 8" x 4" from TSA saying they searched your bag (I have had several of these) then it wasn't a "legal" search. And when they have left the card, nothing was ever missing from my bag.

I'd be angry about the $. This isn't a cheap diet!
