Ooooops I really didn't know

I didn't know pancakes were a restricted item. I'm sure I got a no from my coach, that means I've had two restricted items per day this week. Now I'm dreading the scale on Tuesday.

Which pancakes are you referring to? If you make them with the IP oatmeal, then yes they are restricted. But if you make them with the IP crispy cereal, they are unrestricted.

Don't sweat it too much, having an extra restricted by mistake isn't going to derail you. Just take it as a learning experience and press forward!

As long as you stayed OP for the rest of the day, it's really not THAT bad. It's better than going off plan completely. I wouldn't worry too much, and now that you know, you won't do it again, right? ;)

Ah - I sometimes forget they have the crepe mix and the chocolate pancakes, I never really bought those!

At any rate, if you DO want pancakes but don't want to use your restricted for them, you can make them from the crispy cereal :)

I had 2 restricted items per day for several days the first week because I did not understand the packets that well. Still had a good loss. Haven't done it since!

Looks like you are doing an amazing job!

I buy the Health Smart brand of golden delicious pancake from Nashua. They're unrestricted and ohhh so yummy.

90 cal; 15 protein; 1 fat; 6 carb; 1 fiber

I would get the ProtiDiet blueberry pancakes or the Health Smart golden pancakes - always took care of that "real breakfast" craving and they are both unrestricted!

What is your best source for purchasing the pancake mixes?
