New to IP and Happy to be Here

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm just starting the IP journey as a Type 1 Diabetic and on the Alternative Plan, my wife (Suchawittygal) has been on IP for 20 weeks and I want to give it a try. I'll be heading over to the Men on IP Board to talk with those guys.

I look forward to tremendous success and staying completely OP!:broc:

Week 6 of IP and Type 1 diabetic

Hello!

Congrats on starting IP! I am new to 3FC. I am on my 6th week of IP and have lost 21.8 pounds. I am type 1 diabetic and have underactive thyroid and high blood pressure. I'd love to hear about some successes/struggles of others with type 1.

Wow! You're doing awesome Cowbell! It's great to know there's another T1D person on the program. Do you have any secrets you can share? ;-)

Welcome, HPIRacer

Your wife is on here often and we love her. And of course, she's doing great on reaching her goals!

My husband is also doing IP. Although, we started the same time, he is now on P4 maintenance. I've encouraged him to check out the Men on IP Thread, but he hasn't done it yet. I have to admit he spends too much time playing WOW (World of Warcraft).

I wish you the best of luck and I'm glad there is at least one other IPer who is T1D to confer with! Jen

Yeah, it makes me laugh sometimes and other times get frustrated. What's with the WOW thing anyway? In all actuality, I have a really wonderful DH and if that's the worst he does, then I really shouldn't complain. :) Jen

If you'd like to get him off WOW buy him a copy of Diablo 3 and I'll keep an eye on him for you ;)

Ya man, come and join us on the man thread!! I'm probably the only one on here who gets your handle "HPIRacer"! Obviously and R/C guy...that would make me "AssociatedRacer"!:)
