Scorbett!!

I was going to PM this but realized others might be interested in this too: which of the IP supplements should we definitely take and which can we get cheaper versions for and be alright?

LOL :)

My personal recommendation is to stick with IP's brand of Multivitamin, Potassium-Calcium and Cal-Mag. These are the "Big 3" that you have to take every day, and they are designed in dosing and formulation to work together. I know a few people have tried to find substitutions and even when they found FORMS that were the same, they ended up having to take two or three times as many pills to get the correct dosing.

Any of the other supplements (Omegas, Probiotics, Biotin, etc) can be bought over the counter. I get my omega 3-6-9 and my Biotin at Wal Mart.

If you are thinking of using the NoviLax, I would suggest getting psyllium husks instead - the active ingredients are psyllium, aloe and prunes, nothing out of the ordinary that you can't find much cheaper from the regular store.

Nevermind you answered this in another thread.

Do you recommend any of the week 2 supplements? I check in tomorrow and want to know if these are even necessary. Thanks for your insight!

The only ones you really have to take are the Multi, the Cal Mag and the Potassium calcium. I'm not sure what other supplements your clinic introduces in week 2, but no they are not necessary.

I have taken Omega 3-6-9 for a long time so I just never stopped - and I added Biotin when I read here about the hair loss, but you can start that in week 1 or whenever.

DOH! I totally didn't see you had posted when I posted again. Anyway, so far I am A-OK on the bathroom front, but if a problem arises, I'll go the pysllium husk route.
