always catching some sort of sickness

Ok morning everyone!
So I am about ready to loose my mind!
I am one of these people who can usually catch a cold and it be gone right away. Ever since I have been on IP (Nov 2012) I feel as though I catch every virus out there plus my body does not fight it off! Like I seriously feel like I am just a walking virus all the time.
Any suggestions please :-(

Do you work around children? It seems people who do get sick more often.

Try Vitamin C tablets. My friends that are teacher take Cold-EEZE, when it they feel like they are getting sick.

Also think about getting a flu shot?

Feel better

I had my flu shot. And no seniors which sucks because I am scared to give them something. I will try the vitamin c though along with my probiotics

I read a lot about vitamin D3 a few years ago. I got my levels to optimal and I don't get sick nearly as often. I work in preschools and daycares as a teacher consultant so I'm constantly exposed to everything. I've had one cold this school year. It took a while to get the levels optimized but now that I'm "good", I'm pretty healthy! I used to catch everything!

That was me i was sick like every week and no matter what i did i was sick!! I took Vitamin C and it worked wonders. I also started on the IP Pro biotic and it really worked for me too. Hope your feeling better!

I take vitamin D3 as well and agree it is beneficial. I have been sick a number of times this year too though. Most of the time it has been after travelling / flying in closed in planes with multitudes of sick people! My office place is also a hot bed of viruses going around. It seems to just be a bad year. I have found that I have had less severity and I'm over things faster than others. I believe even with all of this I'm healthier than last year because I'm eating better.

In past years I was one of those people who was sick almost every single week with something! This winter I have been taken a multi-vitamin, vitamin C, vitamin D3, and a vitamin B complex, in pills every morning, (like 6 pills total) and I haven't gotten sick ONCE! its crazy. maybe taking some vitamins would help your immune system?

I feel like i've been catching everything as well since starting IP again. I upped my vitamin C and vitamin D and have been doing better. I work in a busy dental office and patients and coworkers are always sick. Also, i finished up my teaching degree last spring and i was constantly sick because of the kids. I would hoard (and hide) hand sanitizer and lysol wipes in my bag (they were considered "contraband" in the school system) to clean when the kids were gone.

Just keep washing your hands, up your C and D (don't take too much C though, can make you sick) vitamins and drink lots of fluids. Those are the only things that seemed to help. Feel better soon!

I take 1000 mil of vit c, olive leaf extract and cayenne pepper, I believe that combo has helped keep me healthy. I have taken care of my father in law with pneumonia, dealt with serveral colds between everyone in my household and made it through without getting sick once in the last 4 months since taking my vitamins. They all have anti viral properties.

Spring is coming, soon!! Maybe then, we can all leave these viruses behind. I've been healthy this winter despite so many sick kids in our schools. I haven't been taking vitamin C, but think I might get some today when I head to the store. Do the chewable ones have sugar, does anybody know??

I too work in a number of schools as a teacher consultant. This year has been very bad for everyone.
Last year I was on phase 1 IP and didn't get sick at all. This year I am maintaining and had a flu shot as usual.
I was so sick from the middle of December until Christmas. It seemed that everyone I heard from had the same problem.
I think jus a very stong set of bugs and viruses this year and has nothing to do with IP.

I am a biochemistry and nutrition science major with a medical background.

A combination of 5,000 IU Vitamin D, 30+ billion strain of probiotics, and raw colostrum have been proven to be 800% more effective than the flu shot by naturally boosting immunity against viruses. I have taken this combination for 12 years and have yet to catch a cold or flu. :carrot:

What product would you take to get the raw colostrum?
