Yes they are! Also great if you are ever out and need to pick up an alternative to IP or forgot your lunch bag at home!!! You can usually get them at a drugstore(CVS, Riteaid, Walgreens) or you regular grocery store. I find that
Target or Walmart has the best prices

The EAS Carb AdvantEDGE shakes are compatible with IP - just make sure that is the type you choose, some of the other ones are much higher in calories or carbs.

I wonder if anyone knows if they addressed the issue of arsenic in the rich dark chocolate drink. In 2010 consumer reports tested many protein drinks and the EAS rich dark chocolate RTD (my favorite of course) had very high levels of arsenic and Cadmium.

That report was in regard to the EAS Myoplex product, not the Carb AdvantEDGE - Myoplex contains additives that are not in the AdvantEDGE line.

EDIT: And EAS addresses that report directly on their site - they only recommend 2 servings per day of the Myoplex product, while the CR article tested on three servings per day. http://eas.com/safety

Thank you Scorbett -

My teenaged son showed me the info last week online because I had brought them with me when we went skiing because of their portability and it did not specify that it was not the carb advantage.

I will go to the EAS site and look into it further.

You are a wealth of info - that' why I asked - I appreciate your help.
