I'm sure less steeping time would mean a lesser effect - it's just tough because there's no way to really measure the strength. Definitely worth trying next time you need it though, it can't hurt!
Thanks, I'll have to do some experimenting with the steeping time.
Congratulations Scorbett

How do you make the tea and what kind is it?
I love how your so level headed and driven and just keep working the program!
Have you always had this much energy ? You are a Dynamo!

The smoothe move tea worked a little too well for me last time too. I had visions of that bathroom scene in the movie Dumb and Dumber.
Do you know if the effects would be a little milder if you steep it a little less? I usually steep for the full 15 minutes, but after the last one I'm afraid to use it again unless I can spend the day at home.
Congratulations Scorbett

Thanks everyone! Still in awe that goal is here...it went by so fast!
The tea is Smooth Move - it's a senna tea, great for dealing with "C" issues
Energy is relative - some days I pass out on the couch at 9:30 at night, other days I go to bed after midnight....my boys keep me on my toes during the day! I'd say any energy I have is thanks to all those veggies I am eating now!!!
Tea drinkers, I just buy loose tea, so I get (Wegmans, Teavana) Sencha/Matcha Green Tea and add ONE or TWO fibers to any flavor tea, that is all I need.
Going for a much needed haircut, then picking up my sewing machine ( in for cleaning & tune up) then I will be ready for the big snowstorm that is supposed to hit tomorrow, a snow in sew day.
Kind of funny that flushes are the main topic of conversation today. I had tea for the first time last night, and my coach tells me that I am backed up (and that's why I get so miserably full and nauseous at meal times) and gave me some magnesium citrate. I better not make any plans this weekend.
In other news, I had another 2 lb loss today. That makes 16 on IP and 20 since January 1.

Who makes this Smooth Move tea? I looked for it at Safeway yesterday, but no luck. Anyone know where it is sold in Canada?

Have you tried Smooth Move or another senna tea first? Mag Citrate is literally white lightning, and very dehydrating. Also causes pretty bad cramping (think ex lax times 5). That shouldn't really be your first line of defense.
Congrats to all the wi's and to Scorbett. Great job. And your help/inspiration so much appreciated.... WI for me today not expecting much as I peeked. But hoping for inches. Have a great day all.
So I was definitely dealing with a little "C" issue - had some Smooth Move tea yesterday morning and it definitely did it's job.....all afternoon and straight up until bedtime
Well after that grand resolution to my problem, I figured I'd step on the scale this morning to see how much of an effect it had.....and lo and behold.....159.2 lbs!!!!
I am not going to call it done since I am sure the scale will fluctuate between now and my next Wednesday WI, but man that was a nice number to wake up to!!!! But I feel pretty confident that I can start planning my first Phase 2 day one week from today
CONGRATULATIONS - Did the 6-7 months it took you to get to goal fo by fast? I am on day 4 and have to say I am liking the plan - honeymoon phase I know...
Congrats Scorbett, I also Had a great WI last night, down another 2.2 lb 23.4 since starting over half way to initial goal, thinking of lowering we will see when I get closer. Love IP. Every one seems to be having a good week!!

I feel the same way but try to contribute when I can!

My coach gave me the Phase 2 sheet so I can start getting ready. I feel pretty confident about it, but I've still got lots of questions about Phases 3 and 4.
Wow, congrats on getting so close to Phase 2.

I still love the plan and I'm on week 9. The honeymoon phase continues because the losses continue!!
