Good morning all!

Well, don't know what's going on but I seem to be having some bad belly issues.. Yesterday I didn't know whether to eat, throw up, or go to sleep! I did eat real protein for dinner last night (omlette) but it didn't help.. Must be a bug or something ..

xolina - I'm staying course pretty well, but every moment is a struggle for me right now. I think 2 weeks is the standard for phase 2, my coach just allows for my "modifications"

sooooooI got frustrated and cheated last weekend bad idea! it really wasnt worth it Because not only did I gain 4 lbs but I am still stalled at 127 and hungry Someone told me to eat a higher fat meat like a steak, so I am going to have steak tonite. We shall see. I think that when you get under 130 its really hard to lose..... thats just my theory. But what doesnt make sense is we are eating 800 calories a day, so what will happen when we go to 1200 or 1500 in phase 2 and 3? Im confused too. Keep me updated on your progress.
You are so welcome Lexi:0) Yeah...I'm worried about the body metabolism slowing down and going into survival mode and when I start adding more calories I'll just blow up. I'm also trying to rotate the diet...maybe I'll try some higher fat foods as well. Throw a steak in. I've been eating fish almost everyday for dinner. I'm stalled at 128.5 it goes up and down a few ounces. Maybe next week we'll pop into that next zone down. Let's keep track with each other and have a great date in the city!

Funny, my Mom is from Italy so maybe it was the Italian input! My mom's a 4' 9" little sicilian (major spit fire!)
My little Italian Mom (she's first gen, family is from Avellino) is 4'10" on a good day and she was the tallest of the 3 sisters and towered over her Mom!!!

Hello Ladies!!

OMG, I've been so busy at work that I haven't had time to pop in and see how everyone is doing! I'm doing my best to stay on track, but I have to agree with everyone else, this reboot thing is much harder the second time around!

I hope everyone has a great rest of the day!

Great Dane - Aren't little Italian Mom's so much fun! I was a towering giant amongst the women in family at 5' 4" - the next tallest is my sister at 5' 1"... And if I have heels on, they basically looked like children

Melissa - nice to see that smiling face! Yes, I think we're all in agreeance that the reboot is much tougher than the first go around ..

I bought the office guys lunch and nice desserts today for Valentine's Day .. I got a steak salad - officially P2 but at least I didn't eat the roll or any of the fantastic looking pies and cakes ...

This message is for bisous3..... from original post in different thread.
I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about your husband losing his job. And after 20 years there, wow! Times are still very tough all across this country and with the economy. Yes, the worries can effect your weight loss - just extra added stress. Stay strong and I'll be praying for your family. Anyways, welcome back to 3FC IP. We are a huge and supportive web family. Hugs - Jen

Good morning all!

I am new to this tread but am very happy to know that I am not alone in these reboot struggles.

I started IP on 11/15/12 and lost 21 lbs by January 1 when I decided to phase off for a vacation (big mistake and totally not worth it)..... I was back 100% OP Jan 21. Although it was hard to get back "on the wagon", I did really good the first 2 WIs (4.4lbs and 3.6 lbs). My last WI (yesterday) I was only down 0.3 lbs. I feel like my body is catching on to what I am trying to do and, in a sense, holding on to the weight.

I have made a decision to hide my scale and let protocal do it's thing.

Thank you all for the great information!

Morning all! Here we go into another weekend; wishing all of you the best

mparker: Welcome! Don't be discouraged, all of our bodies are different and there are some weeks when I only go down .8 and then I'll have a huge drop with 3+ pounds - it varies. It's about learning your body and you'll eventually know how you lose weight, not a lot of people are always consistant and losing 4 pounds a week, there's many of us who only lose a little and then a lot and then a little again. I highly reccommend you DO NOT weigh yourself at home. There is more to your weight than a number and weight fluxuates.

When you are dieting like this its hard not to weigh yourself because you are thinking, geez Im starving and you get pulled into the scale.....Did I lose anything at least? I have been the same weight for 2 weeeks, including my cheat of course, still 128. super fun

I definatley think that getting rid of the scale at home will help. I have become quite obsessive, which is not good....

Thank you for the feedback and encouragement.

We should have a weighers anonymous group here!!!!!! I literally have to look in the mirror and tell myself..."you're not getting on that scale today!" It's so obsessive it's ridiculous. More stress hormones, more cortisol equals a whole cascade of hormonal reactions in the body and probably slows down the loss.
I'm just walking more and getting lots of fresh air to help things along AND upping my water intake, which I had been slacking off on.

Have a great day everyone and let's keep truckin'
