Is there a thread on this? When does the exercise recommendation kick in and what does everyone do to get started. I have gym phobia...The local gym is a young person's pretty place to go to be seen and see...and very gossipy. I won't be joining...no matter what...
So hoping others dealing with local issue that can lead the way and tell how they get the exercise once it is time to start...We have yuky weather for at least 6 more weeks around here...

I guess I'm just confused because I thought if it was a thread, why didn't it show up on the first page, since someone (Roo2) posted with today's date! It seems even if there is an older thread, if someone posts something there it will automatically be brought forward to the 1st/current page due to the "today" posting. Can anyone explain where I'm confused? I know I'm missing something in this 3FC posting process. Thanks, Jen

Wow congrats Roo and Lisa you are inspirations to us all. I had weigh in #3 today and lost 1.2 lbs. intellectually I am telling myself to chill, do the plan and the weight will follow. I think it is my fault though. I deviated a little making pizza from portabellas ( no cheese) but I did use some turkey pepporoni and no sugar pizza sauce. I also did have sugar free jello a couple of nights. Anyone have a similar experience?

With all this talk of rutabagas I finally went to the store and bought one. First I looked online to see what I was looking for. I am now making rutabaga fries. Can't wait.

If you click on a user name some options pop up. You can view their profile, send a private message and also see recent posts. That is what I did to find Roo2's story. That story came up under her recent posts.

It's been a crazy crazy day but I wanted to check in and I see so much great news!!! Congrats to all on the awesome WI's AND WOW ROO2!! That's so wonderful. I can't wait to read your story tonight.
lcheech, you can do this! If you need an extra packet in the first week, do it! You are on Day 4 which is a big deal. Every day you stay OP is a BIG DEAL! I find that I am just hungrier between breakfast and lunch than between lunch and dinner so I have no issue eating lunch at 11:00 am if that's what my stomach wants. ;-) Stay positive by reading the board because this will be best friend as you move forward. You got this! ;-)
I had my 4th WI tonight and I am down 2.2 lbs and honestly, I was shocked. I just feel that TOM coming on so I didn't expect much so I am one happy chick!

You'll see a 1.2 loss is VERY common.
Some weeks will be bigger. Some will be smaller.
There are NO ONLYs here (as in I only lost...)
It's ALL GOOD and it all adds up.
Get Dr Tran Tien's new book (only in print version) at your clinic and read the chapter about loving yourself. STOP beating yourself up. It won't make the pounds come off. You're doing great!
