Very true. I am just so terrified of having to go through Day 2 again that I just won't cheat.

I can relate! The only plus is that as freebie airline upgrades have become more rare, I'm less and less concerned about scoring the upgrade! I'd usually rather have seat in the bulkhead or exit row anyway. Quite often there's more space than in F. And on the off chance that I get upgraded and my DH doesn't when we're traveling together, I can act supremely generous and give him the upgraded seat.

Oh, and when I do get the upgrade, at least I can get plenty of sparkling water. ;)

Yeah...I should have ordered sparkling water with a lime. Then I could have felt like I'm drinking my favorite pool-side drink: vodka, soda, with lime.
