On another note, I got up this morning and found that DH had already whipped up a meal for dinner and started it in the crock pot: well trimmed corned beef (he even proudly held up the big slab of fat he removed before starting), sauerkraut, and rutabaga. (Oh, and I checked and the corned beef is 0 carbs.) It's his own creation so we'll see how the whole thing comes together but he's usually an excellent chef! I thought it was really thoughtful how he replaced the potatoes that he'd normally use and trimmed everything up so well. It should be a good meal for this dreary, drizzly day.
