Hey everyone i joined IP about 2 weeks ago. I seen the 30 By thanksgiving but Canada Thanks Giving is in 7 Days so i couldn't really do that.. BUT i decided to do a 30 by Christmas!! We still got 2 months till Christmas (Oh my coming quick) So yesterday me and my husband went to Ricki's here in Calgary (My favorite Clothing Store) and i bought a pair of new pants 4 sizes smaller then the ones i am wearing (The ones i am wearing are huge on me now though) So when i tried them on they got stuck on my but pretty much and were super tight. My goal is to loose 30 Pounds and be able to fit into those jeans for Christmas day!!! Does anyone else have any goals they wanna fulfill before the new Years?? And by the way this weekend is gonna be hard!!! My husbands birthday on Friday then my mother in law having a quickly thanks giving lunch Saturday or Sunday which we are having burgers?? Then my mom having a thanks giving on Sunday with turkey and everything ugh But my plan is to help make sides "healthy" so we will see how it goes!! What are everyone elses goals before the new years??

Last Christmas my husband gave me a pair of PJ's that were embroidered with my name. They were size XL. I was so embarrassed that he thought those were large enough for me (I was wearing 26/28 tightly) at the time. I hung them in the back of my closet thinking I will never wear them. I plan on wearing them this Christmas!

I am also in Calgary and would love to be down 30 by Xmas. That will make me in "onderland" which would be the best present

I started the IP plan at the end of August and I am loving it so far!

I have a few pairs of jeans that I kept from my slimmer days that I can't wait to fit into again. I am thinking one pair should fit by Xmas if I accomplish the 30 pound goal.

I'm off to Disney this year and I'm getting a new bathing suit, and wearing it proudly -- even if it's a cold one! LOL It's nice you have a"tangible" goal so you'll know when you get into those jeans that it worked! Give your hubbie a high five (or big kiss) for being so supportive too!
You'll be fine for your turkey day celebrations. Eat lots of turkey, without gravy, and bring your cauliflower potatoes, or your delish "salad" as your contribution. Mmmm.... can I come too?? LOL

Think I gots ta cook me a turkey soon.... Does anyone have a way to make gravy?? (maybe the potato puree instead of flour??) ....

You have lost alot of weight. I'm sure they will be to big.

I joined 30 lbs. by Thanksgiving. I'll take this on as well. I have a few pair of jeans I want to be in as well. This program works so well and so excited about everyone making your goals. I know we can, I know we can.

I am in! That would put me at my lowest for the last 3 years.
I am so looking forward to being able to wear some of those jeans that are packed away as well!

I'm in for 30 by Christmas since I'm from Canada too and there's no way I'm close to that before Thanksgiving this weekend LOL

I was hoping to hit Onderland by December 31st, but we'll see how fast the weight comes off in the next few weeks

If we all put our commitment to it we can loose this weight!!!! I am so thankful to have such a supportive husband! If i can fit into those jeans by Christmas with my family i will probably faint! I love looking at those jeans and thinking I CAN DO THIS! I love this group here so much support and kind words!

I would also like to join. I am so close to my first 30 pounds and I could definitely give others and use the support myself to get down another 30! The diet works, but it is not always easy to do on your own. I hope we all reach our goals and find the support we need here.
