Welcome to the new posters.....I tend to lurk more than post and want to thank everyone for their wisdom and encouragement. My WI is on Wednesday, but my scale showed 159 this morning. I had set a goal of hoping to break the 160's by Christmas. Early Christmas present!!!!

When you feel like crap, RUN. This is my profound thought for the day.

I cannot find jicama anywhere. Dying to try this.

Isn't it crazy we (at least me anyway) would not eat all day and then eat like a pig. Now I have to remember to make sure I finish my packets, water and vitamins during the holiday craziness!!!

I think you are hiding them. I just bought baby Bok Choy last week and did not see any.

If it was the day I ran into you at the market, I picked one up while I was there They are usually right around where the snow peas are, they look like light brown blobs

On a happy note, I love when MyFitnessPal tells me I'll be at my goal weight in 5 weeks!

Hi all - haven't read any posts..I'm literally too tired and just got home from the hospital today. Had a rough, rough time with the knee surgery replacement/revision. Pain was the major issue and I'm now on dilaudid and oxycontin, yes both at the same time. My blood pressure got really low and my temp got really high. The fever seems to be gone now but the blood pressure is still an issue. I found out that 85/35 isn't a good BP
.....put on 9 lbs while in the hospital and eating nothing,literally....my leg looks like a Jimmy Dean sausage link and is prolly carrying 10 lbs of water!!! what a trip this has been....
2013 you better be ready for me becuz I am going to give you he** if things don't improve drastically!!!!

Glad you're back, Maezy. Sounds like you are ready for the healing to begin!

BTW, when my mom was in the hospital recently with blood clots, we noticed that the bed she was on would also take her weight. She didn't like the answer either, but her leg was swollen up to where it was about to pop.

1 gallon of water = 9 pounds, so no doubt your weight gain is from all the swelling and then some.
