chocolate pancakes ? Help please.

what can I do with the Chocolate pancakes. It says on the package to add 7 oz. of water, Way too thin. I would like to make cupcakes or something else with them but I'm not a baker. And help would be greatly appreciated.:?:

Lulu, I haven't made these into actual pancakes yet, but I did put it in a deep mug and mix with 2 oz of water and microwave for 30 seconds at a time (about 1 minute is what worked in my microwave) to get a mug cake.

Mix as the package states, and put in a muffin pan. Way better as mini muffins than as pancakes. I could never get the pancakes to come out right.

I think you can mix that in a mug with just enough water to become like a brownie batter. Then bake it or you might be able to microwave it for a minute or two.

I always just mixed it with 2 oz of water in my blender bottle, put it in a seperate microwavable bowl (and of course licked the utinsels!), and then microwaved it for 40 seconds. When done, I poked holes in it & added WF pancake syrup! Yummy! :)

:D Thanks to all, these suggestions really helped. I'm a chocaholic so I really like my chocolate. I'm trying all of these. Thanks again.

You might try adding an egg white and reducing the water.

I'd like to try the microwave mix, I also have had limited success with this recipe, the "pancakes" usually turn out flat and mushy. I tried adding baking powder to the mix and that helped puff it up a bit but it still ended up being wet in the middle and collapsed a bit.

This is what I do: Take the mix add about 4 tbsp of water, spread out on parchment paper into a disk and bake at 350. Then I dipped it in WF marshmallow. Was pretty good!

I did the mini muffins one night for my husband and I as a snack (a whole packet split between us) and they were GOOD!
