My mini-goal (half-way point) is DEFINITELY in my sites!

I really never thought I'd have a "bigger" week this far into the plan. This is proof we don't need to "tweak" the plan. Just follow the sheet, be patient, and let your body work. Sometimes it needs to "catch up" (smaller or no loss) and sometimes it is ready to dump some weight AND inches!

Pants I JUST BOUGHT and wore ONCE are baggy. I'm starting to believe the other girls this has happened to. I thought it would be after I was closer to goal. I've learned my lesson. No more buying clothes that fit. Buy 'em a bit snug b/c they won't be that way for long!

Next time I throw a hissy fit b/c I'm being impatient, somebody remind me how I felt on 12/13/12!!!
Congrats!! I bought clothes at the consignment shop near my clinic!! Very convenient.

Oh Kay! Of course you ran out without IP food! Not the priority! But now while you are playing the waiting game, it has come to mind.

IF you can even choke anything down today, you know how to make IP-appropriate choices with food & drink water. Your appetite might be on the back burner as your survival mechanisms are on high-alert.

When people call and ask if there is anything they can bring (as they always do), have them stop at the store and get you some EAS carb control ready-made shakes. And if you don't have them, making sure all is well with your son is the utmost importance. After the docs tell you all is well, you will begin to relax & then people can bring you what you need.
Best wishes!

What kind of diet lets you have fudge for breakfast and bread sticks for lunch??

I tried the fudge this morning. I wonder, can you roll it in unsweetened cocoa or something and make truffles?? IP friendly of course.

The bread sticks were tasty, more like a casserole consistency to me. I have made something similar with the leek soup and it tastes a lot like the Portuguese eggs I had growing up.

jmuroff - You look so good!!!!!!!!! I am excited to have those kind of pictures. You look really fit/toned, too, did you work out at all on the diet?

I believe I've seen scorbett weigh-in on cocoa before, noting that it is off-plan. Rainbow has a truffle recipe...

Just a quick reply while I'm at lunch at work. I bought size 18 jeans (Lee) about a week ago and they didn't fit. But this week I wore them to work and I can button them and NOT have them be killing me!!! I can't wait for them to be baggy.

Have you ever made them and re-heated? I would love to take for lunch, but only a microwave there? Or have you made them in the microwave?

Wait a week LOL. That's the way my clothes have been going lately. I've watched this happen to others while I sat in the same clothes. What I realize now is that there was some stretch to those pants. Now I have ones with no "give" and they get big much faster!

Kay my prayers are with you. I wouldn't worry about IP until your son is better. do what you can and let the rest go. The last thing I would have thought about in your situation would have been myself. Keep us posted
