Looking for an IP virtual buddy
 

I’m going to sound like a 3rd grader when I ask this question, but here goes…

Can someone please be my virtual IP buddy? I know these forum I used for weight loss support, but I would really like to have that one person to get a private message from on a daily basis just to hold me accountable. In return, I will do the same thing by checking in with him/her to see how their day has gone.

I just feeling so lonely on my daily weight loss journey and could really use that personal/emotional touch for someone (if that makes any sense).

Here is some information about me to get a better sense of who I am:

1. I’m am a 34 year old, single, no kids, and live in the Seattle metro area.
2. I’ve been an avid fan of General Hospital for 20 years now…so bonus if we chat about GH as well as IP. :D
3. I sometimes feel like Bridget Jones regarding being a bit quirky (though I’ve never hooked up with my boss nor do I plan to!).
4. I love the subject of psychology and can talk for hours about humor behavior and the psychology behind our behavior.



I just really need a person or 2 to chime in with me on a daily basis to give me some personal support. Maybe we’ll become friends through our communication over the months or maybe we’ll just remain virtual buddies…either way, I feel like I would do better and stick with the IP program if I was held accountable by someone on a daily basis and not just by my weekly 10 minute meeting with my IP coach.

Hi FreeBird! I would like to be your IP buddy. Well, what does that mean exactly? In Person? You said "virtual" though so I'm thinking my California location will be alright. I am similar to you in that I am 35, single, no kids. I need to lose a bit more weight than you, but I could use the extra push like you so let me know how I can help you and together we can do this! I used to watch Days myself, although it was so long ago I'd hardly remember the characters. And then there was that other show with the doll that came to life. Passions I think it was called? Haha, anyway, I also have family in the Seattle area, so maybe we'll even meet in person someday. Just a thought! Take care!
