When I had the bug a few weeks ago I found that just eating the soups helped a lot. (No appetite, plus nothing tasted normal anyway). I'd steam my veggies and blend into the tomato-basil, green pea, or cream of chicken soup. With a few spices (I like curry & just a dash of cayenne) plus some dehydrated onion flakes, it's quite tasty. The chicken noodle soup packets also went down well when I was sick.
