Breakfast: 2 egg whites either scrambled with 2 cups of spinach or 2 cups of kohlrabi hash browns and Splenda sweetened ketchup, and 1oz of back bacon or chicken bacon.
Mid morning snack: Nashua protein bar or pudding Late lunch: Nashua protein bar or pudding Supper: 7oz of meat and 2 cups of cauliflower mashed or Jicama fries Snack: Dr.Bernstein chocolate shake Of coarse I change things up at times but these are my staples and work very well to keep me on plan and happy ;) |
Lots of good suggestions so far.
One thing I'd add: It's good to have a baggie in your purse with a supply of 'emergency' items, such as a protein bar, some sea salt, some stevia, perhaps a soup packet or pudding packet, and an individual sized WF salad dressing. That way if you are out and about and get delayed for some reason, you'll always have something appropriate to eat. And by carrying a small container of sea salt with you when you're away from home, if you get feeling dizzy, etc., (seems to happen in the early days mostly) you can always get a bottle or glass of water, lick some salt, swallow some water and quickly get feeling better. |
