Miso, or not to Miso?

My apologies if this has been discussed before. I don't have my IP guide here, and can't reach my coach. Is a small amount of Miso OK in flavoring vegetables on phase 1?

I would not use it. It has fat, carbs and sugars in it. Everything we eat off of the protocol page is supposed to be 0-0-0.

Definitely no. One ounce has 7g carbs (more than some of the IP shakes) and 56 calories. Anything not mentioned on the sheet has to be 0 carbs, 0 fat and 0 sugar.

Thanks Maezy,

I think this is the best way to ask questions! I can't answer yours but thought I would let you know that I do support asking questions this way :)
