OH wow......WELL if you drink water you will be the most sober one there......lol...sounds like fun!

Great post, great advice. I'm planning to stay OP, hoping to reach my goal by the end of January. Thanks for the inspiration and please msg me or post that cauliflower dressing recipe or point me in the right direction if you've posted already. I'm guessing it's riced cauliflower made into rice dressing??? sounds yummy! Congrats to you for all you've accomplished and continue to do.

Thank you Wuv for sharing. I plan on staying OP during the holiday season. At times I think, well maybe I will come off for just dessert but it will not be worth it. Time to get creative with the cauliflower and puddings!

Thank you much needed this time of the year

Wuv - you are amazing!

I'm so glad that I got to read your post today! It's the first posting I've read ever on 3FCOAD AND I just re-committed to IP today! I'm in awe of your success and will not forget your story! I had done IP from Feb of 2010 to August 2010 losing 49.5 lbs. I had to quit due to some intestinal problems and had a surgery to correct my problem. Now I'm back...but I've gained it all back PLUS some. So I re-joined today at 274 lbs. I'm so excited to be back! I feel like I've just passed "GO" and I will collect $200 (but instead of money, it will be years added to my life!! Thanks for sharing your inspirational life-changing story!

I am very happy to see that many of you are going to stay OP. Its going to be such a great feeling to have that control....y'all will see :)

Mamajojo, welcome back to the new IP family :)

I'll still be in Phase 1 for Thanksgiving but it should be NO problem!! We always rent a beach place with a kitchen for the Turkey Day holiday. We bring all our food anyway except for our traditional Saturday morning Razor Clams breakfast at a restaurant we've been going to for like 30 years. And when I order it this year I'll just have them sub out the potatoes and toast for steamed veggies, the eggs will be fine, order the razor clams not breaded and I won't have my traditional fresh squeezed OJ. Breakfast will be my non-IP meal of the day that day. I will not deny myself my annual Razor Clam breakfast!!!!

Also looking forward to the beach walks with the pup and hubby. We put in 7-10 mile days without even thinking about it.

Wow! Thanksgiving on the beach <sigh>
I usually have Christmas on the beach but this year Christmas is our travel day so no Christmas eve/Christmas on the beach. However, NEW YEARS! That will be a beach time. We'll be in FL
We usually end the year with lobster. I'll be able to do that & I'm thinking Rainbow's Crab Soup will be a great Year-starter!

It will just be me and my bf for Thanksgiving so it will be easy. He's not a fan of turkey though so I will have my daily 8oz of protein covered for a while :)

Great post WUV! Great ideas on holiday eating and staying on IP. What is your cauliflower dressing?

wuv2bloved 11-11-2012 11:13 PM

We have a meat stock down here in the south called Savoie's or Richard's Dressing mix. We use that and cauliflower rice, that is it :)

Starshine 11-12-2012 08:27 AM

This is a great post/thread! Thanks, Wuv for starting it. I'll be staying OP during the holidays. I've come too far to let myself slip up. And the food ideas you shared are wonderful. It really shows that it can be done.

Thank you! :)
