I ended up having a bacardi rum and diet coke last night at the HH that I sipped for an hour, lol. It was worth it to me, especially as I haven't even "officially" started IP. I've just been decreasing my carbs so my body won't be shocked when I start for real Monday (if my darn supplements are shipped on time, anyway). I think it's up to everyone to do what feels right to them.
Some people can go cold turkey. Some can't. My plan is no alcohol at all as of Monday, but I have a Thanksgiving coming up with an in-law that usually requires alcohol to cope. Hopefully I can get through it sober and unscathed. I wouldn't begrudge anyone their choice to occasionally induldge, as long as they are mindful of the possible impediments to quicker weight loss. |
