How ironic (for me, at least) that this was posted today, after my disappointing, measly little one pound drop this week. :-( I didn't cheat in terms of eating things I was not supposed to eat, but I think there were a couple of days that I didn't get all my water in. Drinking enough water is a challenge for me!
But at least it was a one-pound loss, and that means the scale is moving in the right direction. I knew that I would eventually hit a week that wasn't as successful as I would have liked..but it is discouraging! |
I think most of us, after the first few weeks, have pretty realistic expectations; ie, it happens when it happens, and there are a thousand things that can affect that ONE moment of the week you step on the scale at the clinic. Heck, last week I weighed myself in the morning, took a shower, dried my hair, etc, stepped on the scale again and I was up 3 pounds from 45 minutes earlier - go figure!
I do think, though, that it's a little misleading to post those expectations on their website when that's not likely to be the results for a lot of clients. |
