My NSV requires a bit of explanation. I am a pear shape with most of my fat on the upper thighs...starting right above the place the clinic decides to measure me. I have measured the fat area of my right thigh very week. I only go by that measure because it does not seem to fluctuate for non-fat reasons - things like what I had for dinner or when I last ate or how much water I drank an hour ago. I'm happy to report that every one of my 10 weeks on this program have shown at least 1/4 inch drop in that measure...even the weeks when I had very little change in the scales and even a gain at one point. This has really helped me to stay focused because although the scale said I was in a stall, the measure said everything is right on track. I wanted to loose 5 inches when I started and today I have lost 3 inches, with only 2 more to go. I am pleased as punch!
Today was a good day for me! A gal I work with commented on how my weightloss is really starting to show and then tonight while getting supper ready, my DH mentioned how noticeable it's becoming! It sure makes a girl feel good about herself!!
I look forward to my daughter coming for a visit in a couple of weeks. She has no idea I'm on any kind of a diet so hopefully she'll notice too!
We do this for ourselves ultimately but it's really great to get compliments from the people you love!
-I actually was BOUNCY walking up a hill to my car today after voting.
-Fit into clothes I haven't worn for a while already!
-My ankles are no longer uncomfortable swollen.
-Coworker said how noticably my face has changed! Thinner, and healthier looking!
-I made it through a whole emotionally-intense weekend without cheating!
-I am feeling more motivated in other areas of my life. I have come up with a budget and an agressive debt-repayment schedule.
SDChickie Wait two weeks you won't be squeezing into them soon! I blew past the 16's and all of a sudden I went from an 18 to a 12-14...keep trying them on, don't think you won't fit. Make all your smaller clothes "maybe tomorrow" and keep trying them on!
heehee! I know! Will be buying smaller sizes soon! Yea for NSVs!
With way less pounds of me to haul up the hill, my weekend Badger Mountain hikes (vertical rise of about 800') with my pup, are now a "walk in the park"! My coach knows I do these, she just wants to know how many times during the week I do the climb.
Going to work in a size 12 and praying I can keep them up for the rest of the day. Trying on my 10 and they fit. And just 10 weeks in and loosing this much weight. One of my co workers watching and making an appointment. Love reading everyone's everyone is doing great.
Not sure if this qualifies as a NSV but my wife, who makes gourmet cupcakes and custom birthday cakes, baked a large batch this weekend and I wasn't tempted to even try one!

ARE YOU KIDDING????? That's a huge NSV! Congrats tightwad!
My boyfriend and I were walking out to the car and he looked down at my pants and said "Your pants sure are getting baggy" I just laughed because these are the smaller pants that I just bought and he thinks they're too big for me already.
