Turkey Bacon

I have a quick question - i saw a few recipes on this board that included turkey bacon. Is this allowed on the plan?

my question to you is ....is it on the sheet?...if your answer is No then the answer would be nope....just sayin

I guess the confusion comes into play as there are a number of things included in the recipes on this board that are not on the sheet. Many folks seem to enjoy them without an issue.

It was just an honest question.

I understand your confusion, I haven't seen the recipe you are speakin of. Basic rule of thumb for the program is if its not 0/0/0/ then its not allowed.

another thing is some are doing alternative's to IP so those may be using it.

dk, I go strictly by the sheet. Everyone is different and it may not have any effect on you but I don't want to chance anything right now. Heck Im still measuring my lettuce even though I know what a cup looks like! Just want to be OP as much as possbile

I've been on Phase 2 for several months due to financial reasons. My coach has said that turkey bacon is ok. I heat 2 strips of thin tb in the microwave, then crumble it into my scrambled eggs (along with mushrooms, peppers, whatever) for lunch frequently. It adds a nice flavor. I would not have used it if I didn't get the ok from my coach.

i eat turkey bacon (the really lean one) or i even do turkey sausage with my eggs for dinner!!! I buy Jennie O breakfast turkey sausage links and count it as my protein.
