Coach asked to take extra Potassium at lunch for low energy

  • I had my 3 week weigh in, and told the coach I was low on energy and she said to try taking an extra potassium at lunch.

Anyone still having problems with low energy?
  • I don't know about the potassium, but I added in a B50 vitamin and that helped with my energy issue (I'm a Vegetarian though, so that might make a difference).
  • I had low energy and they had me up the cal-mag and make sure I get my salt in. It worked. I still only did 1 potassium. I also had problems with my eye sight because of the low salt. That went away when I upped the salt also.
  • I do take b-12 shots once a week. it's bee two days and i am not seeing any upside, will give it another week or more
  • My coach had me add an extra potassium at night. I had increased my water and started having Charlie horse leg cramps. She said that the extra water was flushing out some of the potassium. It helped. So now when my water level is on the high side, I up the potassium. If I don't, I consistently experiences leg cramps.
  • Took my shot of b-12 about 90 minutes ago

I am so drained of energy

last two days i have not had any veggies, may be that's what it is.

    Patiently waiting for energy

I would definitely say the lack of veggies aren't helping you!!! The diet is VERY low calorie, so every bit of food we are supposed to eat is necessary. Not just for calories - but for fiber and essential nutrients.
  • I fall asleep in front of the TV in the evening, from 7 or so on. Just have a hard time staying awake.
