Soy vs Whey (Isolates)
I am going to go out and buy a few protein drinks to see if I can substitute them for the IP RTD shakes.
My question is: Since IP protocol is no milk, wouldn't that normally preclude the whey drink from Premiere? I see that the EAS is soy, though. They are strict protocol at the office. No milk, no nuts, and they even said no yellow squash since it says that squash is on the banned list. Still trying to make my way through this maze. |
IP packets have tons of milk in them, very few don't. I have a son who is allergic to milk, and I have to be very careful with the powder that comes out. It is really no milk in addition to the milk they already give you.

Many of the IP products have whey-based protein or milk protein concentrate added, and the cheese flavored ones have...well, cheese powder! But there's a difference in the fat/carb/calorie count of protein powder and actual milk/cheese/dairy products.

Yellow squash is ok to have. It's almost exactly the same as zucchini in nutritional value. AND zucchini is a squash too, just not called by that name! I am subbing the EAS drinks this week since I am hearing that no one's weight loss has been affected by it and its the same as the IP drinks. I figure one change a week! Next is ordering from Nashua foods
