I agree that the company should be aware of this coach's negligence. She is making the entire company look bad.
Also, she may be requiring cash to avoid the charges of running a credit card. That gets expensive! |
If you have an email address for corporate, I would suggest emailing your coach and cc'ing corporation.

omg....your coach is worse than mine and mine is awful! You can easily order your IP products online. I have started ordering mine that way. I will still buy some from my coach, because I need her for a weigh-in commitment. I do not feel bad that I do not buy much from her, because if she was a great coach I would buy it all from her!

I've not had an in-person coach (I've been doing Ideal-to-Go) and have found it to be totally workable. If you are not getting the support you need from an in-person coach, this might be an option to consider. As for weigh-ins, I bought a fancy-pants scale (I think it was $70) and have been weighing myself. I measure inches by how loose my clothes are getting ;)
I am so sorry about your missed weigh-in. There is expectation and a certain amount of excitement that accompanies that day. I imagine it must have been very dissappointing as well as frustrating to have been stood up. This is not something that a good motivator does. Good work with keeping on plan despite this experience! |
Well, the bad news is that I tried ordering from plainprotein.com and for some reason it says they are unable to ship to my address. I'm not sure why because I don't live in the boonies.
The good news is I found another clinic in town that does IP. I called and the receptionist was so nice and polite. I explained to her what was going on and she said I could absolutely switch over. And the best part was, she said there would be no extra charge. All I have to do is go in and fill out the paper work again and they can get me set up. |

Just an update about this. I went to the new clinic today and met with my new coach. What a world of difference. He actually looked through my food journal, picked out things that I should or shouldn't be doing, took me off all the extra supplements (other than the multi-vitamin, cal-mags and potassium), and recommended I eat a 4th packet a day because he's concerned I might be losing too much muscle. This is definately what I think a coach should be doing. I feel like he's actually concerned about my well-being and wants to make sure I'm following the program 100%. My old coach didn't do the little things that I think really matter.

I'm so glad that you found somebody who works better for you!

The problem I was having with my coach was her basically accusing me of cheating every time I was having problems. Constipation? Cheating. Didn't lose weight that week? Cheating. So today I switched to someone new. She seems nice and seems to know more of what she's talking about.
