Hey 2sweet4u! Yes in Juneau! I have been to the North Pole though Have some great friends in Fairbanks! I have seen another from Alaska on here too. Here I am feeling cold in our weather due to some weight loss... I bet you got us beat in SE AK!!! My brother moved back from South Dakota\Minnesota (border) and brought the IP plan with him. He has lost 85 lbs, and I was so impressed, I had to try it. I have no idea how he did it all without this forum. Those recipes and the encouragment, oh my!!! I love this place
MommaHen, my coworker used to put chocolate in his chili as a secret ingredient! A close friend does the chili in the chocolate cake too. I thought about that, but didnt have any lol.. Would not recommend BBQ on your cake.. probably not a trend that will take off!

Another day (evening) when I don't get to read anything on the forum until now and it's bedtime since I have to get up early and support our international group.
I'm not quoting anyone (too many out of 7 pages), but congrats on the WIs (especially Wuv, way to go), welcome to the newbies (hey, Chunk, where in Michigan - we have a cottage south of Houghton Lake), and a big hi to Chloe, Kaypix, and mlucus for coming back. Missed you all. Remember we're all here for you. I mentioned on another thread how great scorbett looks. WOW.
Still trying to get one of our Corvairs drivable (brake issues now) for another event this weekend. Not looking promising. It's just not the same to go without a classic to participate in things like the parade and the drive through the Smokey mountains. Oh well.

Today is my weigh in and I must say the WHOOSH fairy visited me last night....are you READY for this.....after 74 week on IP I have dropped another 6lbs!!!!!!!.......BAM out of no where another 6lbs gone...can you tell I am a little OVER the moon!!....wooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

The funeral was today and it was absolutely beautiful. There were tons of pictures of him and they made me smile He was the type of guy you met once and were friends forever. I will miss him tremendously until the day we meet again.
I did not cheat. I stayed on plan and my wonderful husband broiled some fish for dinner in lemon juice. It was delicious.

I work with an adorable kiddo who has autism and he is obsessed with all things HEALTHY. For the past few years, in his own funny way, he has encouraged me to stop eating donuts, and to join a gym. He is really a very funny kid and we have a great relationship. Today, he finished an assignment and suddenly began looking me up and down, up and down, up and down. Seriously it was like 20 times. He said, "well, she does listen to my words of wisdom." I laughed so hard. It really is his way of complimenting me. Made my day. My good friend and coworker made me my very own READ poster I thought I would share. This pic was 15 pounds ago but I am still proud. I am so happy I found IP.
I heard from my doctor today and after 7 months of being 100% I thought my cholesterol would have gone down but it went UP a few points - it's 224 - I'm really kind of disappointed. Anyone else have this issue?
