    Searching:
    If you can't find what you're looking for in this forum using the website search function, try using the "double search" using Google.

    1) Go to Google.com. Search 3fatchicks by using the term site:3fatchicks.com at the end of your Google search.

    For example, if you want to look for "big mac in a bowl", type "big mac in a bowl site:3fatchicks.com" in Google search. No need to include the quotation marks when you type.

    2) This will bring up the page that you are looking for, now hit Ctrl+F to search on that page. Type "big mac in a bowl" and all instances of that search term will be highlighted.

  • Up, getting ready for the parade. Unfortunately, we could not get the Corvair running yesterday in time to leave. Just won't be as fun riding in someone else's car. Oh well. I have not been to a fair, especially a large one for probably 40 years. DH is not interested in the fair at all and I don't care much about all the food, rides and too many people for me. Still, will be interesting I'm sure.

  • WI day and moving to phase 2 today! So excited to have reached this point 33 weeks into my journey (but also terrified! I've never been successful so I've never had to figure out how to maintain - the journey continues!) Hope you all have a terrific day!

    Stay calm. Nothing to figure out yet. Just follow the new sheet. Same as the old sheet only better! (I'm far from maintenance but the thought terrifies me too!)

    Morning everyone! I have a carb question. I found a protein drink at Sam's Club yesterday and I was wondering your thoughts on being IP legal.

    For 16 oz

    Calories 130
    Carb - 22 g
    Sugar Alcohols 12 g
    Fiber - 2 g
    Sugar - 0
    Fat 3.5 g
    Protein 20 g

    It is a mocha frappe protein powder. Looks good but wanted some input.

    I'm sure others will chime in - but the one thing that jumps out at me is that there are a LOT of carbs, and the sugar alcohol content is really high. What sugar alcohol is used? Some are better than others on your body. I also remember reading somewhere that you should subtract HALF the sugar alcohols when figuring out net carbs - if that is the case this shake would be a RESTRICTED item, like the bars (22 carbs - 6 (sugar alcohol) -2 (dietary fiber) = 14 net carbs).
  • Well, I fell off the wagon yesterday. Poor planning. Lesson learned. We just went for a quick trip to Houston and I didn't plan dinner. We got to Houston around 11pm and had to order food at the hotel bar. I ordered a turkey crossaint with full intention of just eating the turkey. I was so hungry I didn't care. Not going to beat myself up about it. at least it was delicious. This is our first quick trip, done vacations fully OP this seemed harder for some reason. Back 100% OP today. Now i know to plan better for overnight trips in he future. We have another coming up soon. Confessional done! Lol!

    You will do a wonderful job drake! I feel the same way you do. But as long as we stay focused on how hard we worked to get here, i'm sure you will do well.
