Thumbs up First Weigh In

Hey Everyone!

Well today was my first weigh in which I do at home because my coach lives in another city.
I'm down 8lbs!! I dont know if that's a good first weigh in or not? I have heard most people say they lose 10lbs or more. I followed IP to the tee didn't cheat or anything. I'm very happy to see it being more then a few lbs though, and I have a long way still to go.

What was everybody's first weigh in like?

Thanks

8lbs is a fantastic first weigh in! You can't really compare your loss to others, every body is different and every body gives up weight differently. But if you stick to the protocol, the weight WILL come off!

Also remember that when the clinics talk about weekly weight loss numbers, they are talking about the AVERAGE someone has lost over the course of the whole program. For example, I have an average of 4lb per week - but if you look in my signature, I've had weeks below 1lb and weeks as high as 10lb.

Default Wow

I think that is fabulous. Eight pounds in one week! Where else could you get such results. My first weigh in is on Monday....my goal is 8 pounds. I didn't know if that was possible, but your post has encouraged me!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement again!

I will take whatever loss I can get! and this just makes me want to keep going. Thanks for explaining that it does vary from person to person.
